Anjoman Dried Barberries - Zereshk (125g)

These crimson red Anjoman Dried Barberries boast a tangy sour flavour and make an excellent addition to many Middle Eastern and Asian dishes. They add a bright colour to rice and other grain dishes and can be mixed with various vegetable dishes and meat braises. These barberries are similar to unsweetened dried cranberries, but are smaller. This dried fruit may be used sparingly in granola or salads and as stuffing in different Middle Eastern specialties. These dried berries may be plumped up before mixing with the dish by soaking for a few minutes in hot water.
