Description
The Vaello 34cm Polished Steel Paella Pan is a traditional Valencian vessel made from cold-laminated carbon steel. This material is specified for its rapid thermal response, essential for creating the socarrat (caramelised rice crust). It features a slightly dished, dimpled base for even heat distribution and heavy-duty riveted handles.

Care & Maintenance
To prevent oxidation (rust), this pan requires specific care:
First Use: Wash thoroughly with soap and water to remove the protective lacquer.
After Use: Hand wash and dry immediately. Never air-dry.
Storage: Wipe the entire surface with a thin layer of vegetable oil before storing in a dry place (ideally inside a plastic bag).
Rust Removal: If rust appears, scrub with an abrasive pad and re-oil immediately.
