Cool Chile Achiote Paste (190g)

This paste is composed of annatto (achiote) seeds imported from the Yucatan, providing a distinct, earthy flavour and vivid red hue. Mix the paste with a bit of lime and orange juice to marinate pork, fish, or chicken for making pibil dishes. Moreover, this paste serves as an ideal base for other marinades that require a bright red colour, such as the Al Pastor marinade.
