With its classic round, shallow form, this cazuela is ideal for tapas, baked dishes, garlic prawns, and oven-to-table serving.

Crafted from natural terracotta, this cazuela offers excellent heat retention and even heat distribution, allowing food to cook gently while maintaining warmth when served. The material is well-suited for slow cooking and enhances the flavour of dishes by retaining moisture and heat throughout the cooking process.

Designed for versatility, the dish is suitable for use on gas and electric hobs, in ovens, on BBQs, and even over open flames. It can withstand temperatures up to approximately 250°C, making it a reliable option for a wide range of cooking methods.

The glazed interior provides a virtually non-stick surface, making it easier to clean after use. It is dishwasher safe and also suitable for freezer use, offering convenience for both cooking and storage.

Before first use, the cazuela should be soaked in warm water for around 10 minutes to prepare the terracotta and improve long-term performance.
